Our Private Chinese Courses for kids and teens are designed to provide a highly personalized and engaging learning experience. We offer 1-on-1 lessons, giving students the option to learn individually or alongside a friend or sibling, ensuring both focused attention and a comfortable, supportive environment.

Each course features a flexible lesson schedule and fully customized content tailored to your child’s learning pace, goals, and interests. Whether your child is just beginning or looking to advance their skills, our approach adapts to meet their specific needs and desired outcomes.

To keep parents informed and involved, we provide monthly progress reports and feedback assessments. These updates allow you to clearly track your child’s development and collaborate with us to adjust course content or learning methods as needed.

Our teaching approach makes learning Chinese enjoyable and effective through games, cultural activities, and interactive practice, helping students build confidence while developing real-world language skills.

"Nice experience so far"

Tim van Goor

One thing I really liked from the beginning was how relaxed the atmosphere felt. The teachers are friendly and actually take time to make sure you understand, without rushing. Even though my Chinese is still basic, I started using it outside right away in cafés, little shops, asking directions. People in Hangzhou are usually patient and encouraging, which made a big difference.
The classes feel personal, not too big, and you’re not just sitting and listening. We actually speak, a lot, and sometimes we laugh when someone mixes up words.

The location is great too I love walking after class or just sitting somewhere quiet with a milk tea and trying to review my notes.

So in general I would recommend the XMandarin School in Hangzhou.
