French Course and Tourism in France

First, Catherine is a fantastic French teacher; she is incredibly kind and patient and it was a real pleasure spending five days with her in Sablé. I knew less than 10 French words when I arrived and within five days I was understanding very basic conversation and speaking with her using the 10 or 12 verbs & conjugations she taught me. I travel to France and Switzerland often and it was time for me communicate better during my travels. Catherine helped me attain my goal while making our time together fun and interesting. She showed me quaint villages and the abbey in her area and we also visited Angers and Le Mans, which were terrific afternoon adventures. I felt comfortable in her home from the minute I arrived. Her three adult children were visiting during my stay and they are all such talented, upbeat and patient people. It was a real joy for me, spending time with Catherine and her family. This was an all-around excellent experience and I hope to learn with Catherine again in the future. Highly recommended!

I stayed on site in the attic room: spotlessly clean with its own bathroom, big bed, and table and chairs where I could hear the neighboring animals while I studied. Catherine was a patient teacher. Each day she reviewed my work and helped me learn more. It was a special two weeks with her and her family, and part of my lessons included everyday activities (including cooking and eating!) with her adorable children. I would love to return to visit her family and improve my French language!
