The house has an antique theme to it, and the décor in the common areas will definitely make anyone feel quite nostalgic! There are 15 beds in total, made up of single and shared rooms. Each room has good lighting and a desk for studying. Some of the rooms lead out onto a balcony area where you can have a breath of fresh air or have a view of Table Mountain. Rooms and bed linen are changed weekly. There are shared bathrooms for students and each room also has a small basin for a quick wash. The house is deep cleaned twice per week, including all communal areas. Students are responsible for keeping their own space clean and tidy. Cleaning up is especially important after you have used the kitchen for cooking. Upon arrival, the house staff will show students to their rooms, hand over keys, provide the student with the house rules and show students how to get to the EC English school.
