Those courses are available all year at all levels and can be used to prepare students for the official German Certificates telc Deutsch B1, telc Deutsch B2 and TestDaF.

Students live with Germans, sometimes families, sometimes flat sharers, very often single people who have a spare room. You have your own room and share kitchen and bathroom with them. Students cater for themselves, either by contributing to the budget or by shopping for themselves.
