Our friLingue Mathematics Camp in the beautiful Saint-Bernard Valley (canton of Valais) offers a stimulating and enjoyable academic experience in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Set against a backdrop of spectacular mountain scenery, fresh alpine air, and peaceful surroundings, this camp is perfect for children and teenagers who want to strengthen their mathematics skills while enjoying a fun and engaging holiday.
Each week, participants take part in 15 hours of mathematics lessons, held in small groups with an average of 8 students. Classes are designed to be motivating and interactive, using games and creative pedagogical approaches so that pupils can improve their confidence and develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts—all with a smile on their face!
In the afternoons and on excursions, students enjoy a wide range of sports, creative workshops, and regional activities, ensuring a balanced programme where fun and learning go hand in hand. All activities are supervised by experienced and caring staff, creating a safe and supportive environment throughout the stay.
Participants stay in comfortable, youth-friendly accommodation in a mountain chalet, with full-board meals included and wholesome food prepared to keep energy levels high.
The camp welcomes young learners aged 10–15 years and is ideal for both those who “love mathematics” and those who feel “at war with mathematics,” starting from basic to more advanced level.
The friLingue Mathematics Camp includes:
- 15 hours of mathematics lessons per week in small groups (no language course included)
- Motivating and interactive teaching methods adapted to different levels

- Daily activities, workshops, and excursions in the alpine region
- 24-hour supervision by experienced staff

Our spacious, chalet “Relais de Dranse” in Liddes is in a wonderfully quiet location on the Dranse, a source river of the Rhone, about 5 minutes below the pass road into the Aosta Valley. Equipped with ping pong, billiards, table football and a garden to romp around in, our chalet offers everything for a perfect get around. You will soon feel at home here. Lots of exercises, no traffic noise, no through traffic, absolutely ideal for relaxed language holidays in Valais!
