All our exam preparation courses cover the areas of your chosen exam in detail ensuring you learn the skills and English language through the use of past papers and exam technique to achieve exam success. Preparation courses available for Cambridge Exams, IELTS, and TOEFL.

HOW YOU WILL LEARN
Skim reading for meaning, scanning for detail, paraphrasing, making inferences, and more

The skills needed to speak confidently and succeed in a one-to-one interview
Listening strategies such as listening for gist and for detail
With sample papers and continuous practice of specific tasks, you will become familiar with the exam you are taking and learn how to answer the questions as effectively as possible

Completed in September 2020, Holmes House is a modern student residence offering students fully
furnished rooms with private bathroom, study area with desk and chair as well as plenty of storage
space. There is a spacious kitchen living area for every 6 students. The residence is ideally located next
door to the school and only a 5 minute walk from Canterbury city centre. The residence offers a high
quality finish throughout and features a spacious communal area, outside courtyard seating area and
free laundry facilities.
Holmes House is just minutes from Canterbury city centre with a wealth of cafes, restaurants, shops,
parks and points of interest nearby. There is a Tesco Metro supermarket just 3 minutes’ walk from the
accommodation and the Canterbury Bus Station is less than 10 minutes’ walk away. Holmes House
is situated next door to the school making it the most convenient accommodation option we offer in
Canterbury.

This residential accommodation is for students aged under the age of 18, with both a residence supervisor and a welfare assistant on site. On-site facilities include a canteen, where students take all their meals, free laundry facilities and communal social areas.

Bedrooms are either single or shared and feature an en-suite bathroom, wardrobe, underbed storage and a study area with desk, chair and set of drawers.

The summer residence is located a short walk from the school and just 13 minutes walk to the city centre. There is a Sainsbury’s grocery store 5 minutes walk away.

The city centre is 5 minutes travel by public transport using the ‘12, 89, 89A, Stagecoach Gold 16 or The Diamond 15’ bus from the St Lawrence Road bus stop outside the accommodation.

イギリスで６カ月以上学習される場合、学生受け入れ確認番号（CAS）と呼ばれる参照番号が送られてきます。これは学生ビザ申請書類と一緒にイギリス大使館に提出する必要があります。問題なく語学コースの予約ができ、お支払いを終えた学生は Stafford House InternationalからCASが届きます。イギリスでは法律で11カ月以上英語語学留学する際にのみ発行されるものだと覚えておいてください。

イギリスで６カ月未満学習される場合、学生訪問ビザと呼ばれる特別訪問ビザを申請しなければなりません。学生訪問として渡航するので、就学中にアルバイトはできません。６カ月未満学習される予定でしたら、受諾レターが無料の普通郵便でご自宅に送られてきます。もしエクスプレスメールで書類を届けてほしい場合は、登録時に £ 80追加料金が加算されることになります。
